ManchesterK^® provides a powerful advertising medium to a very targeted audience

How banner advertising works on ManchesterK^® :

All banner adverts will appear both on the website and on the emails. Please call us to discuss pricing.

We usually allow a maximum of four adverts in each position per week. Please look at www.manchesterk.com or any email from ManchesterK^® to see the banner positions. We will rotate the adverts each time we send out ManchesterK^® emails. So, your advert will appear on 'one-in-four’ of the emails that we send out. You are guaranteeing yourself exposure many thousands of times. We reserve the right to increase the number of adverts rotated.

The banner sizes are as follows:

• Top Banner  = 468 x 60 px
• Right Banner = 120 x 600 px
• The Fileweight should be no more than about 40k
  
• The Animation Length should be no more than 15 seconds

We cannot accept any other sizes.

We would prefer advertisers to send us banners as finished artwork, ready for insertion to the above specification. We can accept banners in 3 different formats: Flash .swf (just for website), Animated gif (for website & emails) and jpg (for website & emails). Advertisers are able to submit 2 different banners - one to go on the website & one to go on the emails. Of course the same one can be used for both but this would only apply to a gif or jpg version. Flash banners can only appear on the website. The animated gif banners only move on 'web-based' email systems eg hotmail, yahoo & gmail. They do NOT move if viewed from Outlook.

Banner Design Service

We can provide a banner design service. The cost of designing a banner is just £50 (irrespective of size).

If you want your banner to link to your website then you must tell us this clearly when placing your banner advert. Clicking on your advert (either on the ManchesterK^® website or on the emails) would then take the member to your website.

Choosing your dates

Our advertising week is Monday to Sunday (inclusive). Artwork deadline is one week prior to publication.

Payment

Banner advertising is offered on a prepayment basis only.

Depending on the circumstances, we may be able to offer a discount. Please call us for a promotional code, if applicable.
